NovaGear designs and 3D-prints backpack frames that add a secure transition platform and a spacious top perch, helping your cat explore the world outside the backpack—and easily return inside.
The Idea Behind NovaGear
Cat backpacks are great for getting cats from place to place, but they don’t provide a stable outside perch or an easy way for cats to get back inside if they climb out.
So we set out to create a better solution. After extensive testing and refinement, we developed a two-platform frame that gives cats a secure place to step out, enjoy the view, and return to the backpack with confidence.
Our frames are 3D-printed in small batches in Michigan, where we focus on quality, practicality, and real-world adventures with cats.

NovaGear is a small, hands-on business based in Michigan. We design, 3D-print, and assemble our frames in small batches, with close attention to detail.
